About the fall fun-fly held on Oct.17,2004....Great event. We had a really good turn out. So many club members and their wives went above and beyond all expectations that there is not enough room here to recognize everyone. Some donated time, food and drink, some donated raffle items, others donated the use of their equipment..... From me to all of you ...thanks a bundle.  The club benefits greatly from your efforts and generosity. As matter of fact, this is the only time I can remember when everything for the fun-fly was donated by club members and their wives. The club was out nothing for the event. Mike Busby won the Sig Wonder and motor and Glenn Tunnell won the Super Tigre .61 engine. 

T-Shits are in.....Troy now has the club T-Shirts. Everyone who placed an order for shirts should contact Troy Emmett and he'll make sure you get the size you ordered. Let me say that they look great. Also, we should have extras...so if anyone would like another shirt, contact Troy for details.

The Coosa Valley Flyers would like to welcome new member Paul Baker. Paul was a member a few years ago and we're glad to have him back. Welcome also to new member  Shane McCord. 

Club Improvements.... We now have a number of new field improvements... 1) Flight line safety fence has been installed. 2) Pro wind sock has been installed. 3) Porta-toilet is now on sight. 

The club web site now has a domain. The new address is "www.coosavalleyflyers.org". Please make a note of it. The web site can also be reached at the old address. Please help spread the word.

 Remember .. we are now holding club meetings at the field. I encourage all members to stay active in club affairs and to make use of our class "A" flying field. See ya on the flight line.
